Visually, the silhouette looks rounded, somewhat resembling an apple — hence the name. **"Pear"** This figure carries most of its weight in the lower body. Full hips paired with a smaller upper body, a clearly defined waist, a smaller bust, slender arms, and fuller ankles. Because of the resemblance, this body type is also called a "spoon," or marked with the letter "A." **"Rectangle"** Women with this body type have roughly equal waist, hip, and bust measurements. The waistline isn't clearly defined, and the legs are often long and slender. This body type is sometimes associated with a "boyish" figure. **"Hourglass"** A full bust, full hips, a narrow waist. This figure is associated with the letter "V" and is often called a "masculine" figure.
