Size chart

Measurements are taken from the body, not from the garment, and are given in centimetres. Find your measurements in the table — the number on the left is your size.

Which size is it?

The most common question is a UK or US size. Women’s clothing conversion:

  • UK 8 / US 4 — EU 36, Ukrainian 42, S
  • UK 10 / US 6 — EU 38, Ukrainian 44, M
  • UK 12 / US 8 — EU 40, Ukrainian 46, M
  • UK 14 / US 10 — EU 42, Ukrainian 48, L
  • UK 16 / US 12 — EU 44, Ukrainian 50, L
  • UK 18 / US 14 — EU 46, Ukrainian 52, XL

Sizes 42–52 are usually the Ukrainian scale: Ukrainian 44 = EU 38 = M. Full conversion is in the table below.

How to measure

  1. Bust. Wrap the tape around the fullest part of the bust, breathe in halfway and take the reading.
  2. Waist. Wrap the tape around the narrowest part of the waist, measure on a half breath. Do not pull the stomach in or push it out.
  3. Hips. Measure around the fullest part of the buttocks, at hip joint level.
  4. Garment length. Measured from the top edge of the shoulder seam to the hem along the back. If the hem is asymmetric — to the front edge.

The same figure from the side, the same three tapes
The same figure from the back, the same three tapes

Important. The tape lies at 90 degrees to the curve of the body — at any other angle the measurement comes out larger than it is.

Figure from the back: from the top edge of the shoulder seam to the hem along the back

The tape should sit close to the body along the measuring line, without sagging and without pulling tight. The person being measured wears underwear or light clothing.

Tip. If your size falls between two — take the smaller one. But if the fabric does not stretch — take the larger one.

Shoes

Foot length in centimetres

  1. Take a white A4 sheet and a brightly coloured pencil.
  2. Place your foot on the sheet and trace around it.
  3. Measure the distance between the outermost points of the outline.

The table gives the length of the foot, not the length of the insole.

Foot between two slanted lines — the distance comes out longer than the foot
Wrong
Foot between lines, one of them slanted — the distance is again longer than the foot
Wrong
Foot between two vertical lines touching the toe and the heel
Correct

Important. Shoe sizing depends on the model and may differ.

Tip. If your size falls between two — take the larger one.
