Merino wool's softness handles the warmth, while the added acrylic helps garments made from it hold their shape and resist wear.

Merino wool is a fine wool. Today, the largest population of this fine-wool breed is found in Australia. The sheep have adapted to the continent's harsh climate, which is why their wool is considered truly unique. It is incredibly fine, yet strong, warm, and soft.

Acrylic is a soft, lightweight fabric that looks and feels like wool, which is why it is rightly called "artificial wool." The resemblance isn't only visual: the fiber is highly voluminous, fluffy, and able to trap a lot of air, which allows garments made from it to retain warmth to the maximum. Acrylic items require no special care and are simple to use.

Characteristics:
• Hygroscopicity. Merino wool absorbs moisture well, taking in up to 30% of its weight in water. A pleasant bonus: the wool stays dry and continues to retain warmth. This characteristic is especially valuable for outerwear that keeps its wearer warm even in the coldest, wettest weather, whether in autumn or winter.
• Hypoallergenic. Fine wool doesn't cause allergies, making it suitable for children's clothing and garments for people with sensitive, irritated skin.
• Dirt-resistant. The fiber structure has a springy quality, so it repels dirt and other foreign particles. Items are easy to clean with a simple shake.
• Heat retention. Merino fibers are crimped, meaning many air-filled cavities form between them.
• No odors. This fabric protects against unpleasant odors thanks to the creatine in its composition. This natural repellent literally repels bacteria, creating an unfavorable environment for their survival.
• Merino wool cannot be replicated with synthetic or man-made materials. The unique properties of this natural material make it impossible to copy this fabric exactly.
• Softness and elasticity. For comparison: merino wool is three times softer than silk and five times more elastic than cotton.
• Fine merino fibers blend beautifully with cashmere, alpaca, or silk fibers. They serve as a high-quality base for creating premium blended fabrics.

Care:
• Natural wool, like other similar fabrics, requires gentle handling and care.
• Hand washing is recommended, using a wool detergent. Water temperature should not exceed 30 degrees. Washing wool fabric in water that is too hot may cause it to shrink by several sizes. It will also lose its strength and become rough and unpleasant to the touch.
• The garment should not be dried in a tumble dryer at high temperature, nor near heating radiators or in direct sunlight. We recommend drying it laid flat on a towel.
• Ironing a wool item is possible, but carefully and on a specific setting — "wool" with steam.
