Tencel is a material made from natural raw materials, produced through an artificial process. Tencel production is a high-tech, environmentally friendly process. The raw material for Tencel fibers is wood fiber, which is converted into cellulose pulp, from which threads are then formed and woven into fabric.
The fabric is lightweight, semi-transparent, smooth, with a silky sheen, pleasant to the touch.
Tencel is a very strong fabric with higher wear resistance than other artificial and natural materials; garments made from it do not lose their shape.
Thanks to its texture that feels pleasant against the skin, Tencel is one of the most comfortable materials for garments that are in direct contact with the skin.

Characteristics
- absolute hypoallergenicity;
- eco-friendliness — the material is fully biodegradable;
- enhanced hygroscopicity, manifested in the ability not to accumulate moisture but to quickly evaporate it from its surface;
- pronounced antibacterial properties, no tendency to be colonized by pathogenic microorganisms and dust mites;
- high breathability;
- thermoregulation capability — in winter the fabric warms like wool, and in summer it pleasantly cools like silk;
- very pleasant to the touch;
- high strength both wet and dry;
- wear resistance;
- low-maintenance, easy to wash and resistant to wrinkling.

Care
1. wash in a gentle cycle at a temperature of no more than 30 degrees, using the hand-wash setting, with the garment turned inside out;
2. spin at low speed
3. rinse in cold water.
4. use only liquid detergents.
5. although Tencel barely wrinkles, sometimes it needs smoothing out. When ironing, use a low-temperature setting for delicate fabrics. Iron on the inside out.
6. store in a well-ventilated area;
7. protect from direct sunlight.
8. Before the first wash, the fabric may bleed slightly — this is a side effect of natural dyes. We recommend avoiding pairing with light-colored items during this period. After the first wash, this effect disappears completely.
